Parent of the Year

Yep that's me. Today I was helping my 2 year old daughter across the street. She tried to pull away/sit down/whatever it took in the middle of the street to get away from holding my hand. I pulled her arm a little and tugged her to the curb. She started crying really hard. More so than just being pissed at me for making her hold hands. Long story short-we think her elbow got dislocated. The doctor said it happens all the time, so I must not be the only great parent out there. By time we got to the doctor's office, she was using her arm more and the doctor didn't have to pop it back into place. Wonder when my trophy will arrive.

2 kinds of people-which one are you?

Those Who Buy Generic and Those Who Know Better.

Food: Ever try a side-by-side taste test? We tried Hostess HoHo's versus Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls at work one day. The HoHo's won handily. Wasn't too tough to get volunteers either. It took a week to get rid of the Cake Rolls.

Drugs (all legal of course):
Wal-Tussin vs Robitussin? Please. The Robi makes it work better. I swear.
Plain ibuprophin vs. Advil or Motrin? No contest. Maybe it's the color coating. I don't care. It works better.

Final question: would anyone buy generic beer? Why not, if generics are just as good?
Aha! I rest my case.

google me

I couldn't think of anything blog-worthy to say about myself, or my life, or anyone else's life for that matter. So I decided to google myself and see what I have been up to. Quite a lot apparently but most are still boring.

I'll just give a brief overview of all us Lisa Schettlers. We are: a speech teacher, an English teacher, a graduate from somewhere in Pittsburg, a mother, married to Thaddeus Taylor, and a swimmer in Germany (I'm guessing a little on this one, my German is a little non-existent). There were even a few hurricane Lisa's but they didn't reach landfall and did no destruction.

Apparently, Google agrees with me that I am not really that exciting because they repeatedly asked this:
Did you mean: lisa sattler
[*sigh*]
