Parents of the Year #2
Once again we have been nominated for Parents of the Year. I personally would like to nominate our insurance carrier as Insurance Company of the Year along with us.
Last Sunday, our 2 year old girl fell off a kitchen chair (standard height) onto the laminate floor (at grandma's house, I do not have laminate floors.) Anyway, she cried and cried. I knew something was wrong. My husband and I "debated" all day long as to whether to take her to the ER. You see, we found out the hard way last year that we don't really have ER coverage when we took the 5 year old in for stiches after he bit clear through his lip. Anyway, ok yea sure, we do have coverage after we meet our $5000 deductible or some bullshit like that. So the 4 stitches in our son's lip cost us $800. Yep, $200 per stitch! Therefore we (my husband especially) weren't too crazy about making another trip to the ER.
Long story short (too late for that probably) she broke her clavicle. Yep, BROKE. We took her to our regular doctor Monday morning. Now, the only thing that is saving me from a suicidal amount of guilt is that you don't really need to do anything for this. We could get a brace or a sling, but it isn't necessarily needed.

Stupidest Reason Someone Broke Up With You
"...and there was that time you made fun of the way I made macaroni and cheese."
Not kidding. He was making the Kraft box kind too, not fucking gormet. And I did make fun of the way he was trying to make it all gormet-like.

Thanks Jen
Here is my profile. Thanks a lot Jen. I feel like a dork.
You are a Healer!
(Submissive Extroverted Concrete Feeler)
You are a HEALER (SECF)— caring, good with people, and patient. You are completely selfless and full of love. As a concrete feeler, you do well with your emotions, which are very strong. You understand and appreciate *why* you feel the way you do, and for the most part you're at peace with yourself.
Suffering in the world really pisses you off.
In relationships, it's easy for you to get hurt. Avoid all kinds of dominant (D***) people, *especially* in dating or marriage. You are a motherly figure, even if you're a guy. If you're a girl, make sure you're a mom some day. The world's children need people like you.
On the rare occasions when you try to assert yourself, you're cute and awkward, but highly effective.
